I'm guilty of over emphasizing by adding the "controversial" in the heading but it did draw your attention. The only thing that would have made this better "Home owner bust thief in the head with baseball bat"...

Can't find a link, but there was a burglar in Germany recently who got busted because he sent emails to the police taunting them about they'd never catch him.

Problem was he sent it from his own email address from his home computer and they traced the IP and turned up at his house. What a plank!
