Mine doesn't change much. Pretty much just the wallpaper. I brought the snow back for cool weather :^D

I'm usually tweaking some little thing or another. I just liked how this looked after I'd played around with ratpoison for a couple of hours instead of WMaker. Screen-esque key-bindings are always nice for me, second only to vim-style ones. I mostly stole someone else's .conkyrc, with a couple of tweaks. I did change my PS1 lately though, and I'm kind of proud of that one. Now I've got: PS1="\[\e[0;31m\][\u@\h - \W] \n[\t \d]$" which is working nicely for me.

Are you using Rainmeter on your desktop there, or is that some Linux thing?
I got a nice rainmeter desktop overlay with all my stats etc and a dreamscene animated background of a tree with leaves falling, i'll post it later. Still not sure what to do with my desktop yet.

Nope, it just changes that little bit at the beginning of the next line that might say [lxskllr@localhost] for you. Mine is two-lined version. On the first line it prints [$user@$host - $Working directory] and the second prints 24-hour time in HH:MM:SS format and the current date. Everything gets printed in red. And it is indeed a CLI IM client, finch in the bottom right. The left side of that shot is taken up by another terminal running irssi in screen. It's just urxvt with true transparency enabled.
Here's a decent rundown of PS1 tweaking if you're interested in fiddling with it. Pretty easy, but you can do somenice little things that add up to make the terminal more pleasant to use.

My current Xubuntu 11.10 + Cairo dock desktop. I'm relatively new to Linux, but I'm having a blast figuring things out as I go...
