This is a cool idea. Sure, it would be dial up or less, but still that would mean a world of difference to someone in the 3rd world that had no access before.

Awesome idea! That's a charity I can get behind. I'd give them a few bucks if i had a few bucks. Hopefully that's something Bill Gates would be interested in. I'd love to see that idea take off :^)

This is definitely something that I could get behind too. I'm kind of weary of charities since so many of them are just money-stealing machines, but something like this would be totally worth it, even if they wasted money. This will change the world more than anything. Information from around the world will then be available for the next generation of kids growing up in the third world.

A child with access to a dial up connection can change the world, and has on more than one occasion in this last generation alone.
