I love to try out vintage razors but the Gillettes, especially the pocket editions, seem to be fetching high prices right now. I am seeing a lot of old GEMS on there go for under $10.00 The 1912 model looks pretty neat and has a nice handle. Anybody ever shave with one of these?

I've been considering a GEM lately, because I've read a bunch about them on Badger & Blade. I have an old Rolls Razor and it's a single edge "wedge" type saftey razor with a built in strop, and I've shaved with it a few times. Not the best shave but I'm sure the GEM would provide a better shave. Let me know if you try it and like it...that may push me over the edge on the purchase, lol -
