Lxs, that's what won me over.. the battery on the HTC is easily replacable. The reason I needed a new phone was because the iPhone was dying out after 10 minutes of being charged. Unacceptable.

I like having a real keyboard. I can't see using a touch interface as a primary device. A phone? Sure. I'm willing to make concessions for a computer that fits in my pocket, but if I'm going to carry something of any size, I want a keyboard. I love my Eee900. It's slow as hell, but it does everything I need from a portable device, and I only paid $200 for it. I could see buying an Ereader, but I'd get the old school(:^D) Eink model. The display is perfect for reading text. It doesn't do much else, but I have my Eee for everything an Ereader can't do.

I've said the same thing about my HTC Desire....it's the most useful handheld piece of technology I've ever owned and I'd venture to say in the very near future HTC will make even the Iphone obsolete. I never liked Apple products anyway, so it wouldn't hurt my feelings any.

I think as long as we are alive there will always be the Coke or Pepsi, Mac or PC, Windows or Linux, XBox or PS3, and now iPhone or Android and iPad or Android debates. Android is a great OS, but the hardware doesn't hold a candle to the iPhone 4.

I'm really happy with it so far. I really like the notification system. I installed the Easy Money app with the checkbook feature and bill reminder. Woke up this morning with a notification that a bill was due in a week. Really cool. The iPhone had that with the badge system but it seemed buggy and unreliable.

This was a thing at the beginning with the iPhone 4. I think they did fix this though.

I just got an Andriod phone. A Sony Ericsson xperia x10. It is my first smartphone and I am pretty enamored of it right now.

One problem I have had is not being able to log into snuson with Opera Mini. I logged in fine with the default browser, but I like Opera better. Not sure what the problem is. I think i entered the info correctly.

I think that Sony Ericsson has great video recording quality. The cameras on them are good.

My HTC camera is rubbish but the video is good.

I love my apple products. I got a macbook for school a few years ago, and it hasn't crashed on me yet. Still under warranty, and is a breeze to work on. I still want to get an old copy of XP and run it on my laptop so that I can install and use windows products as well. I also want to get an iphone, but am with tmobile, so I am out of luck on that one...I have the first gen ipod touch and love it (came free with my purchase of the laptop) and am thinking about getting a newer one, as the first gen has no external speaker. My wife's laptop crashes all the time, and is slower than hell, and has had viruses, we got the computers around the same time and I just have never had those problems.

I had an apple G3 years ago.
It was a horrible noisy contraption, wasn't that fast, it was expensive and getting software and hardware was a bitch. I'm pretty sure things have changed these days but it really put me off for ever.

I don't really like apple products. I remember putting itunes and quicktime on my PC a couple of years ago and it really buggered everything up. It even made my DVD drive disappear.
Also - when you can get Spotify - why would you go to itunes? Spotify is free if you just want to hook it up to your amp.

Not an apple fan myself. I have considered getting a mac mini recently just to have iMovie, but as I edit more videos with WMM and Adobe Premier, I find I want one less and less. I really like being able to build my own computer and put what I want on it, be that windows, linux, or whatever.

I also find that the older I get and the less time I have to mess with these things, I tend to just put windows on everything. I don't worry about viruses. I clean up computers for a living and find that I rarely get anything on my own. Even if I did get a virus, I am familiar enough with how my PC runs to notice it fairly quickly and clean it up. Anytime I get on a mac, I just get irritated.
