Yeah Austria is crazy, when I went there to snowboard there were 12 year-olds smoking.

I've just recently checked the German snus forums, and it seems that the Austrians have now started snusing, and even have their own northerner clone site.

Greetings from Australia. Here, the price of cigarettes soared last year. A small pack of 20 budget quality chemically enhanced vegetable matter such as Choice or JP Superkings costs around AUD$10 - $11. Marlboros are about $14 for 20 and anywhere from $15 to $17 for 25.
This will ensure the poor become steadily thinner and poorer because they'll have to give up eating to buy their cigarettes.

Also in Australia retailers are no longer allowed to display cigarettes (at least in my state) so it takes a bout 5 minutes for the staffer to figure out if they carry the brand you're looking for.
We have graphic health warnings showing black lungs, rotten teeth and this I swear to god, a picture of a heart attack paitent with chest ripped open.
Next year they talk of going to plain packaging so it'll be big gore picture with a tiny "Marlboro Gold" (they arent allowd to say lights) at the bottom.
