Navy 1989-1993. Aircraft Handler (ABH) on board the USS Midway and the USS Ranger.
How many of you x Navy/Marine guys remember the Copenhagen they sold on ships stores/bases overseas? For those who don't know, it came in a plastic can and had something crunchy in it.....could have been fiberglass, who knows.

Sounds like you got the right idea. That is exactly what i would do, flight medic is a sweeet job, especially if you like being in helicopters like I do. I wish I had been a flight medic or a door gunner or something, those are the coolest jobs and you mainly don't get shot in the helicopter for the most part lololol.

The South Armagh Brigade was by far the most effective IRA brigade in shooting down British helicopters during the conflict. They carried out 23 attacks on British Army helicopters during the Troubles, bringing four down on separate occasions: a Gazelle in February 1978,[28] a Lynx in June 1988, while in 1994 another Lynx and an RAF Puma were shot down in March and July respectively.
