Somehow we made it 300+ years without primitives taking out a building. You know why? It was a ****in' 1 off, and it'll never happen again. Bombers wouldn't have stopped it, missiles wouldn't have stopped it, and sure as ****in' shit, the Marines wouldn't have done a god damned thing, because it's never happened before. So tell me, which defense contractor writes your pay check? You're either shilling for an employer, or are as myopic as Mr Magoo :^S

You don't need aircraft carriers to deal with primitives either. 9-11 is the scare tactic the politicians, and the defense contractors that have them in their pockets use to justify their existence, and protect their money flow. The fact is our old shit is better than most people's new shit, and we don't need most of it if we don't sail around the world getting into other country's business where we don't belong. If we want to be imperialist ****s, at least be honest about it. Just take what is wanted, and stop wrapping everything up in a flag, and saying it's for "security".

No, you are living in the old paradigm. Learn how guerilla warfare works, they have drawn us into their territory and we are playing by their rules, which is why it's been almost 10 years and we still suffer a blistering defeat every single day. I don't need to learn shit about the present, I am quit well versed in what the military is doing as well as what the terrorists are doing, and both of them are entangled in a delicate dance that serves the masters of both organizations. Al Quaida needs attention to stay relevent and they get the most funding and help when they fight the US, the US likes having an external enemy to point at so they can get all of their citizens to think like you, like someone is coming to get them every second. This allows the government to steal your rights by getting people like you to say, "Well that's okay, because 9-11 changed EVERYTHING!", which it did not.
Lincolnsnuff, please tell me why there are no more terrorist attacks? It's not because the government is preventing them, because even the lowest of amateurs get by security every time, so we know the government is not stopping anyone. So where are they?
FACT: If anyone actually WANTED to wreak destruction on the US it could be done on a small budget with only a few guys, maybe a few hundred dollars ion equipment could cost the US billions in infrastructure damage or loss of business. But there's a reason why no one even tries to do things here anymore, it's because they odn't have to, they have already won. The goal wqas to draw us into their territory where they have an advantage. As long as we continue playing into their hands than there is no need for people to attack the US.

It doesn't take trillions of dollars of specialized equipment to stop terrorism. It takes a lick of common sense and cooperation between agencies. We are also holding a lot of people in Guantanamo without trial and some of them claim to have been tortured. If these prisoners weren't terrorists before they were captured they probably will be when they are eventually released. We are creating our own enemies at this point but I guess that's good for business.
