Yes, and Amazon and Microsoft. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Jimi Hendrix, the list goes on and on.

Also Bruce Lee's grave is here.

I hate seeing throngs of tourists flock into Starbucks for that "Seattle experience" to get that same crappy latte they get every weekend in Tulsa as they walk past so many stand-up, independent, locally-roasted coffee shops. Starbucks can go to hell. The only good to come of it as that a half-way decent cup of coffee can now be found in Tulsa, or China, and probably Timbuktu, Mali.

I'll be moving to Auburn soon.

I go to Seattle very often. In fact, the Seattle Cannabis Farmer's Market starts tomorrow, so I'll definitely be in Seattle tomorrow!

... and Boeing (though the official HQ is no longer here [it's in Chicago... State got too greedy, long story]. Anyways, their stuff is still being built here. In fact, Boeing recently won a $35 bil. contract with the USAF, and those tankers will be built here and throughout the Northwest).

          Also, let's not forget Costco...

There's a lot of other companies I could name: Weyerhauser, Alaska Airlines, the American divisions of companies like T-Mobile and Nintendo... Just trust me when I say we control the world.

As for Bruce Lee, he graduated from High School in Seattle, met his wife, and had his kids here. He had martial art studios in Seattle and Oakland.

Lots of great history in Seattle/Washington. We have a reason to be proud.
