Well said Roo - anyone living amid complete destruction like this is a good cause for charity and all good human beings should want to help if they can afford to whether or not their fellow-countrymen have been helped by the country now in need before (and it appears from Roo's post that they did help with Katrina)

I'm not going to get drawn in to an argument on here again - so don't waste your finger muscles - I have learnt from past experiences here that it just makes me too angry to make any sense. But please - get some good honest, old-fashioned human compassion before I'm sick again.

My uncle lost four friends in the 9/11 attack. 3000 innocent people died in New York, okay, that's sad. How many innocent Iraqis have been killed by American troops? Probably a lot more. Now, who are the terrorists?

I've got no problem with people being proud of their country. If you read my posts, you'll see that I'm more proud of Norway than an average Norwegian, BUT you have to accept that your politicans have done a mistake. A rather big one too.
