    Scotch drinkers unite!!!!

i love scotch... if i am relaxing there is nothing i would rather have than a good glass of scotch. so tell me, who else loves this nectar from the gods themselves and if so which malts/regions, single malt or blended fan and favorite distillers.

I'm a peat monster, so Islay single malts work for me.

      Yeah, I'm with ya Khalid.

Laphroaig is my weakness. I usually buy the cheapest one when I get a bottle 'cos it's still over $50, but when I'm out for a good dinner I don't mind having the $22 shot of it. It's kinda like buying Kardus...you don't really need it but man, it's friggin' delicious.

I'm a Glenmorangie fan myself. Love the 10yr old but have some of the 18 yr old extremely rare which is very good.

I'm more of a bourbon drinker, but I do have one bottle of Scotch that I love. It is The Balvenie 15 year old single barrel. Delicious juice!

A Four Roses special batch opened my tastebuds to Bourbon.

I'm a big fan of scotch, and I like all of them. Which kind is dependent on mood, but Islay whiskys are special.

I am allergic to alcohol, so I can't have alcoholic beverages.
I am soooo glad You made that reference to Kardus. I have been trying to justify having and using this delicious treat.

Cragganmore... can't say enough about this stuff... heavy floral notes to open, the nose on this stuff is amazing hints of honey and salt when it first hits your tongue, not very heavy and clean tasting. after a few seconds you pick up a subtle sweetness and smokiness with hints of vanilla at the finish... man i love this stuff. did i mention it may be the finest 12 year i have ever had?

All I can say is....do NOT eat an ice cream sundae after drinking J&B from a mason jar all night at the bar. Everything will end up ON the bar!
