Got a headache? Take a pill
Nobody likes you? Don't like reality? There's a pill for that!

I also was a big xanax user back in the day. I would take 2/3rds to a whole bar drink a bottle of wine and would be ktfo. For some reason when combined with alcohol i would get real destructive and confrontational. My last experience a couple years ago which i have little recollection of involved me throwing beers at some kids who weren't invited to a party. I then proceeded to follow the 4 kids outside. I vaguely recall throwing a lip of cherry long cut at someones face, then adrenaline took over and I don't remember anything. I woke in my backyard with someones bike and a black eye. They did give me anxiety problems for awhile after which I never had before. Look into valerian and melatonin. busting a nut always seems to do the trick for me.

Yeah... I have had pretty bad experiences with xanax as well... although I would take it almost exclusively without alcohol just because the alcohol causes so much more impairment. Honestly at the peak of my 'experience' with it, I would end up taking anywhere from 4-5 2mg bars within a few hours, sometimes more. Needless to say it got nasty...and I can't remember anything from my senior year of high school. The only reason I passed with pretty decent grades was because of adderall (go figure).

It just felt so good when I was taking it to literally not give one f*ck about anything. After I was definitely more paranoid when smoking weed and actually ran away from the chinese delivery man coming up my driveway during my first experience with baked goods. I don't know why but brownies always get me a lot more futched up. Not sure when i put the skoal cherry in but I could barely stand outside and thought it would be good idea to blind my opponents with some candy flavored dip. scratch that i was thinking at all

Charmando you sound like a cool dude to party with. Supply ya with a Xanax bar, a 1/5th and a can of dip. Set up my lawn chair, get some popcorn, and.throw you in the middle of a random crowd. Now that is entertainment.

Instead of finding the real issue its a lot easier for a quack to fill out a perscription and collect his/her fee.
Most people would rather take a pill then talk to a shrink a therapist or even sitting down and taking a hard look that their lives. Its easier.

Try getting up earlier. Like 3:00AM. There's things you can do at that hour that you would normally do in the evenings. Then go to work. Do that for a week and you'll be tired as hell come 8-9:00 in the evening. A year or so ago I suffered from sleep problems like waking up repeatedly during the night. I had very disjointed sleep for months on end. I've had my bouts with sleep aids too and in the end I've found that it's not a good idea for me to have a bottle of pills of any sort around. For me, eating right and exercising has done wonders in this department. It didn't happen overnight though (no pun intended).

you just need to start winning, then everything will fall into place.

I didn't realize meth was being used medically these days. O wait it is....adderall. But seriously I don't think you can compare the side effects of an amphetamine with cannabis.

Can't sleep = you should smoke pot? Seriously?

My wife can't keep my house clean... Maybe she should start taking meth...
                          There is a huge difference.

Exercise, don't eat much before bed time (some hours before), shut down your computer/TV/phone or any other electronics and get some camomile tea and/or some tea or pills with Valerian in them. No prescription needed. Also, cut down on caffeine if you are using that. Remember also that nicotine is a stimulant also (even though it has relaxing properties), and can make it more difficult to sleep.

Also: sitting in front of the computer all day without exercise or anything stimulating to do, and going straight to bed after that... not easy to sleep then. I don't know if you do that, but I know many do, and a lot of them complain that they lack sleep or have difficulties sleeping. No wonder why...

I have had trouble sleeping ALL my life. At this point, I just don't stress over it. On the rare times that I REALLY need sleep, I just take a shot of scotch and play some mindless game on my nintendo DS and I'm out in under a half an hour. I have found I actually sleep better with sunlight or a small Ott-light on in the room as opposed to it being dark. Consistent noise is a must as well; NPR works well for that.

I used to be like that..... but that's probably what's disturbing your sleep .....

There should be no light in the room, not even a small low-powered bulb let alone noise..... for a perfect sleep .......

Just a question, do you dream every night ? Or at least every two nights ? because if you don't then it's problem..... your brain doesn't reach the alpha-4 state and your body is not recovering even if you do sleep.................
