Tim, the reason I mentioned the nerve is because it required micro-surgery and a good percentage of nerves that are repaired don't end up working. It happened to me with my thumb. I don't have any feeling in it. Anyway, its an easy problem to live with. The only time I find it problematic is when I'm grabbing toiletpaper. I never know if I grabbed it or not unless I see it. I made a mistake once and will never do that again. He will be fine tho.

Thanks... He will have a cast on all summer and have to play left handed but he should be fine. He is so young that he won't even really remember he will just know his finger is a little weird. PP got me to thinking when he said microsurgery... I can't fracking imagine how micro that surgery was... LOL I mean he has little tiny fingers already but to have to connect something even smaller seems like a fracking miracle no matter how you slice it...... Okay, bad pun at the end but only cause I love him and will make sure he gets a great recovery gift.
