I gave my dad a snus trial pack from general (the one that has four little portions of each flavour in a sealed baggie) so he can try it and stop smoking. He has been smoking for 40-45 years....Its gonna be a tough one, but I beleive in the powers of SNUS.

I also smoked for about 45 years and have quit smoking with snus. Did not do it all at once but slowly decreased smoking while increasing snusing. It's a bit of a struggle to stop something that one has done for so long so be as supportive as you can.
