Honestly, I'd prefer it with a more sane nic content, but I don't know how much of the flavor is dependent on that. I'll definitely be trying the other products, especially from the standard Odens line, but if none of those are close, I'll continue to get the Extreme, but I'll just have to use it in small doses. I like your analogy to Pioneer on steroids. That's perfect. I also get an almost citrusy taste out of it, but only occasionally. It's like a hint of the most bitter bergamot you've ever had. The flavor's unique, but I haven't been able to pin down what the tastes are yet.

Original is similar on taste.

Olde Viking original tastes a lot like ettan op to me. And extreme is completely different.

Actually I believe it was the Snusdog who made that Pioneer comparison, if it was me then so be it. I for the life of me have not detected the citrus, sour apple taste at all! I am well into can two at this time, and I have learned to hand bake a real small quick little ball of it.

I too would enjoy something a little less potent but I do believe that the product is somewhat fixed at 22 due to the Base tobacco. Damn Tasty, but my nicotine levels are up. I have had several uncomfortable nicotine excursions using it. And regular portions are wimpy now, I was really hoping for a mini pouch to be the right compromise.

GN and I have been talking about making this one a snuff. It has a lot of potential, hard to tell from the los, I have tried to get a handle on it but the Glycerin is so pervasive in it. I removed the glycerin, and the resulting snuff was good, still too much salt, but still leaves me wondering what the base tobacco tastes like.

4ml for the Extreme?! That's pretty intense. I have to use less than 2 clicks on my 3ml, or I spit it out way too soon. The Extreme is tits though. I'm very impressed with the flavor.

So currently I am enjoying my first portion of extreme. I don't have the slightest clue how to describe the flavor either, but whatever it is it is fantastic!! I have never had anything like this and already I think this may well become one of my regulars. Great work GN!!

I will have to say that extreme is obviously strong, but I'm not finding it unbearably so. It seems to be a very gradual nicotine release. I am happy for that...didn't want to get my ass kicked by a portion.
