    Firexfox 4.0 Lauched

    This baby is a beauty!

I've been giving it a few test runs on my Intel Core 2 Quad, damn it runs faster than any browser I've seen...

    Nothing like the previous version.

You obviously haven't tried Comodo dragon yet.

      never worked on it before

      I'm downloading it now

Mozilla by far has the most options, plug-in compatibility and the new version looks very much like Chrome .... that's what I love about Mozilla.

Edit: Comodo Dragon looks exactly like Chrome, testing it now.

        Why not just use Chrome?

Chrome is the best I came across so far

was just looking for a better one and it seems that Mozilla 4 is insanely fast :^)

I normally worked on Mozilla for ages but had to switch to Chrome since all 3.0 versions are loading too much of a computers memory even with a 4 GB and Intel Core 2 Quad, it's annoying.

I sometimes have over 40 tabs open, and work between them..... unlike the average web user....

Been using it for awhile now. It's still slower than Opera or Chrome imo, but it's far more extensible. There's more to a browser than speed, and Firefox is fast enough. I can turn it into any browser I want, and that's worth more than raw speed to me.

              Agreed.

Been running a few tests with all my plugins, cookies, cache, history and so on....... with Mozilla4 and it's getting "heavier"

I don't yet know of another browser that doesn't get annoying ....

              Will use Chome...
              Chrome is the best....

A blog post on the Microsoft Developer Network compares the power consumption of IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, and Safari. Given the source, it's not surprising that IE9 comes in first in the overall power consumption rating, but Firefox was a very close second.

Been using it for about a week, and I love it, but again I've been using Mozilla for years now.

can see it in most of my site's analytics...

People are clearly using Internet Explorer 9........ around 80 - 90%

                      you know why?

Because most computers world-wide use Windows these days and Internet Explorer is the only browser they know about.

and don't care to try any other browsers either.....

Yep. IE is the standard. (No matter how much it sucks)

80-90% for IE9, or all versions of IE?

                            Does anyone remember Netscape?

                            I was using this one in 94 - maybe late 2000 ...

                            :^)
