What irks me about this topic, is that these murderous insane Hadithic Muhammadan Muslims are killing and going nuts, and no one is really calling them out, or condemning this, and everyone wants to blame a lone American who bought a book and burned it. This is no way gives these Muhammedan nuts a reason to riot and kill. This is insane, and they are insane.

I don't know, I am inclined to say that things were better prior to US occupation. They used to have marginally decent countries but now they are destroyed and americans are bringing change very fast, in such a conservative population you can't expect everyone to acept it that quickly, a lot of people are pissed that they still don't have running water, sewage or trash systems, or ample medical equipment after a decade.

It's kinda like stereotypical arab world hobby to rise up and go kill people with canes and religious pack group think....
They dont want us there and if they do it is because those are the collaboraters that have been given some perks for agreeing.
You break it and you will own it explains everything.

Those poor oppressed Muslims got their feelings hurt when that bad evil American Christian burned their Holy Book, so it's all his evil fault that sent the poor inncent oppressed Muslims to kill and behead. We need to feel sorry for them, and condemn that horrid American Pastor for being evil.

Two wrongs never do make a right and, in the same vein, fighting evil with evil to produce a good is a concept that I have great trouble with.
Killing is wrong. Whether done by an enraged mob or by a government approved missile shot from hundreds of miles away so the killer has no concept of the innocents killed makes no difference. Wrong is wrong. Wrap it in religious or patriotic trappings if one wishes, it is still wrong. Of course, being American, we both know that if the situations were reversed with various Muslim "intelligence" agencies and international corporations doing many not so secret nasty things to us along with Muslim bombs being dropped in Alabama, Kentucky and parts of Indiana with no retaliatory capabilities on our part, we Americans would be as docile as kittens. Would take more than a burning Bible to rile us up I should believe. Again, this is in no way to be construed as any form of approval or apology of killing. I refer you to the first sentence of the paragraph. It is just my understanding of the situation. Extremely angry mobs do not make the best moral choices no matter which religion practiced or region of the world in which they live.
As for your "Pastor", he seems to be a publicity seeking nutjob (note his German history) that willingly lit a fuse to a powderkeg of unknown proportions against almost all recommendations. I would agree that here in America he does have the 1st Amendment right to do what he did but the act was ill-conceived, quite rude and I would argue that it was absolutely un-Christian. As I understand it, a Christian pastor is charged with trying to travel in the path of Christ as an example to his/her congregation. This same Christ advised Christians to love one's enemies. Myself, I see no love in this man's actions. In this instance, it seems the pastor fell a bit short and thus, to me, his act should not be exalted in any fashion. Whether he is an evil person is not for me to say but his actions certainly were not in line with my understanding of the teachings of Christ. By definition, that would make this act anti-Christ, would it not?

Good post dpete. The pastor's worldwide display of Quran-burning, with the prior knowledge of its likely outcome, was as stupid as the outcome itself, in my opinion. Lose-Lose. I too do not intend to apologize for senseless killing and the horrific response to the pastor's little protest, but lets not forget where this happened. It's ****ing Afghanistan. Excuse me while I go poke and prod a rabid raccoon that I've caged up in its own environment.

Look I totally agree that we have been riling up the middle east for a long time, and anyone living in the region would probably be correct in stating their hatred for America. You will find little contest on that point. But these people materialize their anger by killing NON americans, and have indiscriminately murdered a dozen or more UN workers instead. The UN workers are the ones who routinely advocate for these people, so instead of fighting their enemy they have chosen to attack their only friend. Baffling, but to be expected from mob mentality. The same is seen here in the tea party where people think they have been wronged but are a little unclear on the exact details so they just generally assemble themselves into angry mobs to protest "something". lol.
In america we have free speech so the whackjob pastor is free to do as he may, but I agree that he knew what he was doing and what kind of reaction he would get. Of course the afghani's fell into his trap and did react violently, again, but free speech or not someone needs to go put a cork on this pastor guy. Just like reasonable afghani's and muslims are probably having a collective face palm over this incident for what their extremest sect has started, I too feel that this pastor is doing nothing to benefit america and is clearly TRYING to get people killed and stir up violence in the name of religion, one of the worst crimes as far as I am concerned.
