I have become addicted to E-Bay

It's true. I never thought it would happen, but it has. Vinyl records. I just needed one Alkaline Trio record for a complete set. It's out of print. I bid. I'm winning down to the last second. I get "sniped" and it's stolen right out from under me. This of course pisses me off to no end, so I research tips on E-Bay and start sniping other records. The thrill of the hunt! I've gotten pretty good at it actually. I've won a Beck - Odelay, Aerosmith - Permanent Vaction, Beck - Modern Guilt, and Counting Crows - Recovering the Satellites. (the Counting Crows is really rare and can get pricey.) Anyway, any other snusers here use E-Bay a lot?

I E-Bay'ed snus, only thing that comes up is Camel coupons. Blech!

I try and get razors from there but get outbid, fortunately, about 95% of the time.

I used to like E-bay but it is just too expensive for most things , back a few years ago it was good but too many fee's and outrageous shipping have ruined the whole E-bay experience for me

I use ezsniper.com for Ebay auctions.

However, I prefer Amazon for most of my purchases.

I saw that site. Was thinking about it for those times when auctions end at odd hours.

The point of it is, you don't have to bid until the last second. A lot of it is psychological. I'd rather not bid on something, put it in my watch list, and when it gets down to the last minute, then you place your highest bid. That way, no one sees it coming and don't have time to react or get into a bidding war. Also, I've noticed that most people bid in increments of 5. 5 dollars. 10 dollars. etc. etc. If you go by oddball numbers, you're more likely to win. i.e. $16.50

I'm addicted to selling things on Ebay now that my Paypal account is becoming loaded.

I used to be, I felt like I had to have everything, mainly DVDs, but I have hoarded so much now, I rarely buy anything now.
I was selling, and have sold a lot too. My paypal is pretty depleted, I need to put more stuff up.

I've never been involved into ebay. Might as well look this up since I've got quite a bit of stuff laying around the house.

Speaking profit wise, being in Europe and the expensive shipping can there still be any profit margin?

I think I could make quite a bit of money doing it part time.

                        I suppose I have to use http://www.eim.ebay.eu/

Yeah it's a great thing. Sell stuff you will never use to people who want them.

I sold 4 things in the past 2 weeks I would have never used again in my life and have about $275 in my paypal. Time to look for other stuff I don't need.

That would be $600 on average a month

hey, In Romania it's pretty hard to find unwated stuff from people..... but I remember in Norway there were these school/street/garage sales where you could even find antiques for dirt cheap.

Also, there were special containers, for unwanted stuff. As a kid I went once in one of those and there were like TV's, brand new radios and stereos inside, irons for clothes, and the rest were like brand new clothes and sporting equipment .............anyone could pick them up .............. Imagine what sort of money you could make on monthly basis.

Does it help? I'd think that after awhile everyone "snipes" or uses proxy-bid.
Yea, you would think, but that's not always the case. It does help keep the price lower.
