The sad part is that the republicans are going to force everyone to vote for Obama. Obama may be evil like Bush, but mos tof his followers are still going to vote for him if the republicans run Palin or someone else.

I like Donald Trump's schtick for his new preisdential campaign, but I also realize that it is just a schtick. I would eb very hesistant to see trump win because trump is part of a the old boys club, and if our goal is to stop the corporate abuse of our electoral and lobbying system than hiring a business mogul like Trump may not be a good idea.

I like everything he is saying, but I just have a feeling that electing him will result in the income gap growing even wider and corporations getting more tax breaks than ever. I think we need to be spurring small business rather than big business, and I think that trump probably is only running for 1 reason...

I'd still vote for him over Bush though. Ron Paul doesn't have a chanc this year either because as much as everyone likes him, if he did start getting popular there is a lot of dirt that will come to light and make people hesitant. I think Obama is getting the next election for sure.

Now he just announced that we are changing our strategy in Libya, now we are going to "fire on both sides" if theey are killing civilians. So we are now at war with the rebels and with Ghadaffi, and now ghadaffi's troops taking off their uniforms and blending into the populace (which will force us to kill some of the wrongpeople to get to the bad guys). This will end like Iraq, the rebels of today will become the insurgents of tomorrow, watch. I can't believe we are watching another war unfold, where could we possibly get the money from, we've been running unfunded wars for a decade and we just odn't have any more to waste.

Trump is the only Republican I'd consider. If he is serious about taking on China, I'm definitely willing to listen to that. Trump may be a greedy bastard like the rest, but I haven't seen him participate in the class warfare like so many other Republicans. I'll definitely be paying closer attention to him.

          BREAKING:

In 2 hours Obama admin will announce that they have reversed their previous stance on the 9-11 hijackers currently being held in Gitmo. They are officially announcing that Kaleid Shaik Mohammad (sp?) and I believe 4 others will be tried in MILITARY court as was decided during the Bush administration, as opposed to civilian court like the Obama admin and the democrats lobbies heavily for during the election.

What this means: Evidence obtained during torture is gonna fly and they will get convicted. Bad for Obama because they made a big deal about this at the start of his term and are now deciding to just go with Bush's orriginal plan, but good for us because I think military tribunals are the best way to handle these guys.

A quarter would be a better leader than Obama.

Obama will get a 2nd term by a landslide, simply because the GOP has no one running(yet)that isn't at least half a joke.

Me? I don't know that I'll be voting for another American president.

Wait, if Obama announced he is running again, is he going to be running on the republican ticket this time? I am still unsure how exactly he is convincing everyone that he is a democrat, I mean he just started a new war, denied tortured civilians their day in court, renewed the patriot act and they are using military tribunals to prosecute the 9-11 hijackers, how is this guy not on the republican ticket?

I am just amazed that democrats protested for 8 full years against Bush yet they are about to elect Obama to a scond term (he will win). I never want to hear another thing about Bush as long as this guy is in office, Bush never comes out to speak against Obama because they obviously come home to sleep in the same bed at night.

It's still way to early to say (without knowing rep/third party candidates) but if this "great recession" continues through 2012 then I doubt Obama is going to get re-elected.

Don't forget tax cuts for billionaires, handing private insurers millions of new customers, and bailing out the biggest banks and investment houses. Anyone who still thinks Obama is a socialist is not to be taken seriously.

He has cracked down on medicinal MJ more than Bush did, even on this simple task he failed. All he had to do was touch nothing and follow his word that "whatever states decide to do is up to them, and we won't mess with them if they legalize it". How far from the truth that turned out to be....

Trump for President. Obama, You're Fired. I can see that campaign going on. I just want somebody that knows what they're doing or just dissolve it all.

Does it matter? Name a politician and they are all FOR corporations and against US.

Obama and Trump make me want to vomit...... We are all doomed!
Isn't Trump a joke anyway? He isn't really going to run, I assumed it was all a stunt to get more viewers for his show.

At this point (well for a while now) I dont have a party.... I don't think any of us really do anymore unless you are willing to ignore a ton of shit and only vote for a few issues.
So, I havent a clue on who to vote for to be honest.
