But with that new avatar.......................and the above statement....................

I'm thinking that is something we'd all pay money to see
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

If only she could see what I'm really like, she'd be so proud of me.

My parents are smokers and while I did try to get them to try snus, they weren't very receptive. My mother-in-law is just happy I gave up smoking but never misses an opportunity to ask me if I have to still use them.
Hell most of the time my wife doesnt realize I have one in unless she gives me a kiss or something.

I will snus for the foreseeable future and I am fine with that..... and thats what counts because cigarettes cant blow ME for once.

Hope the time passes quickly for you. Speaking as a parent I'll admit we can be a real pain sometimes. I try to minimize it but I'll bet my son could give you an earful!

Were you a smoker before? Did they know you smoked? If so, then be proud to be a snuser! Come out of the closet so to speak.

I was lucky in that My aunt and uncle have good friendsin and visit sweden all the time. They were able to explain snus to my mother from a more cultured perspective. My father has been using cope for the last 50 years or so as well with no problems... so My mother is supportive.

HAHAHA! Sucks to be you! I only say that because I did the same exact thing when my parents visited! Don't forget to get at least 2 of those blue ice packs so you can have one freezing while the other is chilling your snus.

Sucks dude...BTW feel free to let me help you stash that snus ::grins:: you are only a 30-45min drive away. I don't have any kids so I can't really relate. The only thing I could is the parent aspect of it, my mom is happy I quit smoking yet is on the fence about snus. She tends to lump it together with all smokeless tobacco. My step-dad is cool with it, he understood the whole harm-reduction talk we had about it. Be proud you snus instead of smoke dude.

                        I smoked for 15 years.

She tells me she doesn't want my face to fall off and starts crying. I told her I would go back to smoking if she was more comfortable with that but she still does the same shit each time.

I really don't want to hear her opinion on nasal snuff....

I am just over her nagging. I would rather hide and pretend it doesn't exist than go through a week of nagging.....she has a strong constitution for nagging. It keeps her young.

Someone please....smother me with a pillow if I ever refuse to listen to sense and approach new things with old prejudices.....

I think part of her problem is she quit smoking 30 years ago cold turkey and she is bitter about that.

My parents are both somewhat supportive of my switch to snus. Dad dips (Sour Apple skol so, so, sad) and often tells me he should switch to snus because its less risk. Mom really thinks I shouldn't use any thing. She is much better about snus that cigs, I heard about how smoking kills my and every one around me often. Now she just reminds me that I am in fact addicted to Nic..

                              Nagging is what women do.
I've been working a huge amount of shifts recently so I'm tired and my patience is worn. I got so fed up with the wife's nagging tonight I flipped. Nothing serious but I totally flipped - it was so loud the neighbours came round to see if she was alright.
                              I HATE nagging whingeing women.

Sometimes I feel as if nagging is better than what I get...... Silence and looks that could kill. I actually had one of her silent looks cut my lip once.... Well either that or I bit through it.
I have mellowed in my growing age but I have had those "flipped" moments and I too can get loud as hell but never had the neighbors call the cops or come to see if everything was okay..... To be honest it's probaly because they are scared of my cowboy voice. LMAO
