My chew is hidden in the back of my sock drawer....

I have a tin of mini sterks on my person....

My parents are minutes away from showing up for a week and a half long visit....

To stay with me....

I am thirty years old and have two kids....

The oldest is five.

I almost titled this thread "Hiding snus from my parents".

I just don't want to hear their crap.

I find myself hiding the cans I have meant for the US market because of all the FDA lies over them. It kind of demonizes something that should not be demonized :/ It was difficult enough persuading people snus is a tobacco harm reduction product even with the 'soft' Swedish warning on it. Now when I open the fridge I'm greated with 'this product can cause mouth cancer' WTF!

Yeah - apparently snus makes your teeth fall out. Shouldn't somebody take legal action over that one?

well it does say CAN .. goin down to the pub on a friday night CAN lead to tooth loss .. you dont see that sticker outside of temple bar district tho

The only one I agree with is 'smokeless tobacco is addictive' (along with any other nicotine product) I wish the FDA would accept that Swedish snus is not US dip. Just sayin'

They know...everybody knows....even my parents.

The 'rents are the only ones that give me shit about switching from smoking to smokeless.

My wife is extremely supportive of my snussing because she's immediately aware of the benefits to the children.

My parents aren't so sure - but I don't care. I understand it's difficult with parents sometimes but I'm nearly 41 and my mother can either like something or take a run and jump about things these days - possibly cruel, but it nips things in the bud.
