Post us a pic of your Lair

We've all seen Storm's place from his youtube vids, and since I know everyone loves these sorts of threads, let's have one - post up a pic of that hallowed throne from whence you post forth unto the great interweb 8)

Taking a risk, here's my horribly messy desk :

post your pics using http://xs.to

I don't have a digital camera so I couldn't take a picture solely showing the place in which I dwell. Therefore, here's a picture of me on my sofa playing my guitar with my extremely messy coffee table in front of me. If you look closely, you can see a can of Grov with my stainless 3ml sitting on top. I assuredly had a pris of Grov in when this was taken. You can also see my Icetool loose box, a tobacco pipe, a small mason jar that I use to house my stash, and my glass cannabis pipe sitting on the arm of the sofa. My bookshelf is (obviously) to my right, your left.

My place isn't usually this messy, but at the time this picture was taken I had essentially been holed up in my apartment for a few days writing songs. When I stay inside for long periods of time, things tend to accumulate on my coffee table and in the vicinity of said table.

EDIT: I apologize for the large size of the picture I posted.

I normally would have cleaned up for the photo, but since you've all been honest I left my mess :^D I just got my main rig running again after being down for a month. I /think/ it was ram problems, but the things that happened didn't quite make sense. Anyway, I'm happy to have my baby back :^)

One of the two PCs is for the web, etc., and the other serves as a digital audio workstation (DAW) for music composition and creation. Both piano keyboards are connected to the DAW:

^ asquar, mate - have you heard of a piece of software called Synergy?

                  http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/

It's freeware and it works wonders - as long as those two PCs are networked together you can throw out one of those mouse and kb and just share one between the two of them. You just run the pointer off the edge of one screen and it pops up on the other. You can also copy and paste text between screens, which is useful at times. Check it out.

This app is new to me, thanks. There's some very cool open source stuff out there, often far superior to their pay-for, commercial equivalents. I'll look into it.

                      eli:
Do I spy an original NES zapper (orange color) and NES paddle on the right there, and what look like possibly old NES games? If so, then your lair is definitely in the running for "nerdiest place on earth" - especially since you have them so handy . Mine are down in a box in the basement and my zapper was the original gray 8).

I'd post a pic of my lair but that'd require work - I'll edit the post if I get a pic sometime soon.

Yes, that is an NES Zapper, It's hooked up to a clasic NES which in turn shares the TV above the Painting Desk with the DVD player. The rest of the room is devoted to "Nerd" pursuits, the computer desk, the action figures lining two walls, bookshelves full of sci-fi, fantasy and RPG books, a closet full of boardgames and a shelf full of lego boxes and miniature wargaming terrain.

                          OK,

Who are you and what did you do with Soft Morning, City?

Pictures of my of game laden, 40 ounce beer haven is coming soon. My three bookshelves are out in the other room. So I will end up looking like a drunk, game playing snuser with nothing else better to do.
