greetings, y'all. :lol:

after lurking the board for a while awaiting my first order of snus, i've decided to join up. -got my order from buysnus this morning. they have pretty decent delivery, for shipping of $6 and just seven days after i ordered(on the weekend). so far, i'm a fan of skruf stark & i've tried the general silver portion as well. i gotta say, the skruf is an awesome product, long on flavor and i've had no problems baking the pris in my fingertips. and to boot, it goes great with yuengling black & tan, lol.

i ordered nine cans, but just nine, bc i thought i had put the last one(romeo y julieta) in my basket... but that'll be next. they also sent me a pen from rebel tobacco, since i ordered elixyr. as opposed to ordering their mix, i opted to choose based on opinions i've read around the net and this board. anyway, my list looks like this:

  goteborgs rape no.2 portion
  nick & johnny portion
  offroad cranberry loose
  probe whiskey loose
  roda lacket loose
  roda lacket white portion

As a fairly new user myself I'm impressed you didn't make the same mistake I did and only order 1 can of loose on the first order, a mistake I quickly fixed after trying the loose, I'm kinda like you, had no problem baking a pris, loved the flavor and had to get more quick (still spent 3 days without loose :cry: )
I don't think buysnus would have shipped you the romeo y julieta anyway, I think they abide by the Cuban embargo, from what I've gathered here anyway (Seems like Northerner will ship it to you though - reminds me I gotta order that and the Montecristo loose before they randomly cut it off again)
Also, I hope you like it but that power elixyr stuff is one of the most awful things I have ever tasted, had to toss mine after one portion.

Heh, i ordered no cans of loose on my first order, big mistake, quickly rectified, I just finished off my second can of lossnus last night.

My recent order from bysnus they threw in a can of Elyixr peppermint portions... I'm hesitant to say the least (as one it's eliyxr, and two i tend not to be a huge fan of strongly flavored snus).

Buysnus will remove any cuban snus from your order, have yet to see them take exception to this, northerner is rolling the dice. Of what you've ordered I really like the roda lacket whites (one of the few white portions I enjoy) and the nick and johnny is just awesome. I've got the skruf, roda and probe all los in my freezer but I haven't tried them yet. Today I'm snusing Ettan portions and I've got a can of Granit los here at work as well that I'll dip into once this portion is spent.

well, i figured i should get loose for the house & portioned for when i'm out. that was my main reasoning. i think the next order will focus more on loose, as i've come to prefer it over the portion both for flavor and nicotine delivery. to me, the portions are really just for convenience, although the general silver does have a great flavor. i got the power elixyr for when i'm in a club or bar, bc i spend a fair amount of time immersed in nightlife and i figure the other stimulants can stave off the inevitable passout from the whiskey twisting my arm. :P -hopefully it won't be as bad as you say.

wow, sounds like elixyr has a reputation. makes me sorta wary, lol. after reading a lot of good opinions on roda lacket in general, i'm quite looking forward to those & will prolly save em for last. i hate to hear that about the policy on the cuban embargo, i was pretty stoked that i could get some of their tobacco. guess i'll be heading over to northerner for that order, tho. :lol:

as for that skruf, i'm thoroughly satisfied w/ that. i'm sure it'll suit you just fine.

Good Lord, 423 must have been lurking for a while to pick such a fine variety of snus. My one suggestion would be Knox portion as a cheap alternative and throw in some Got yellow, Ettan loose where is it????. I started with the loose snus myself and enjoy it immensely when I am at home. Wish I had the probe in my freezer right now! One tip about the offroad cran, is try it is nice and warm. It is a nice chocolaty cran mix when it is warm. I will still buy the stuff even though it is not as finely ground as say Ettan. By the way, where in the hell is your Ettan Loose?

i'll admit, i spent a fair amount of time in "research" on the board, lol. i had thought about trying the knox, there was just so much other stuff i wanted, tho. :lol: as for the ettan los, i knew i forgot somethin'... i reckon those'll be on the next order. :P

i've been takin' snus as cold as i can help, but will have a go @the warmed cran when i work my way to it... sounds pretty good.
