That is a falsehood equivalency. It is quite different to be against various hidden and not so hidden agendas/actions of the US government than it is to hate the country as a whole.

Parts of the US government has been lying to me since the murder of JFK and then the Gulf of Tonkin. If you want to know what they are capable of just google "Operation Northwoods". They will wrap whatever crap they want to in the flag knowing that a lot of people will snap to and salute. I am weary of liars, thieves and killers and do not wish to support them in any way no matter which side they are on, theirs or ours. No, I do not hate America but wish to be much better than the bloodthirsty savages many have become. We have been led down a very wrong path by some very unsavory characters both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. Truman must be spinning in his grave.
I really don't know who you are Dpete but I certainly agree with the way you think. The way people are celebrating this guys death just doesn't seem right to me. I don't mean to start a war here but I wasn't brought up to celebrate anyones death. Simply say a prayer either for his soul or to give thanks that hes been caught and go on. He certainly was a bad man and God will punish him as He sees fit. BTW, Maybe we are all wrong and OBL's life should be celebrated because he was a true believer of his own faith. Maybe thats how Gods wants us to react if we truely belive in the bible.

ok....I'm ready to take shit for what I just posted.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

a very good article by immortal technique. http://www.xxlmag.com/features/2011/...tal-technique/ I go to a Jesuit College and am personally disgusted by the absent mindedness of the celebrations here. We need to realize we're all human beings and we're placed in our respective lives/ imaginary boundaries of countries by accident. All though the 9/11 tragedy was despicable, our search for justice has ruined the lives of so many more innocent people. What do we have to show for it?

edit: If you plan on reading this just skip to first impressions. In the least he provokes our younger generation to question everything the media and government is spoon feeding devoid of any real evidence.

The celebrations make me a little sick , just showing the enemy we are as childish as they are and really I don't believe that Osama was just killed now after 10 years , this is a staged event to get people feeling better about the waste of $$ that is the on going war on Terror , I can't see how Osama survived this long being that he had kidney disease and would have had to have dyalisis on a regular basis to live ??? why dump the body at sea so quickly ?? this just reeks of a FALSE FLAG event ................

True, there will always be conspirators but hey, people need something to be happy about these days and I can speak for almost everyone I am sick of hearing about ''Will & Kate''.
Only read this last comment so this may have already been said before but I don't think this has changed much but only made things worse, if anything. I thought it was news worthy and the execution sounds quite like something out of a movie.

I don't think this is a false flag, but it could be the lead up to a false flag.
Like we staged Bin Ladin's killing.
Then retalliation from his followers... like something big, staged of course.
So, that happens, more martial law, more rights removed, excuse for more war, more surveilliance, more control.

I don't see it as a celebration of the death of a person. It's more like a collective catharsis for the nation. I don't go in for all the "Rot in Hell" stuff, but I know that a lot of people do.

TRUST is something that was lost for many of us after 911, and this is why we question everything.

As for now our government has told us the man is dead.
However many government officials/witnesses throughout the world have stated death or doubts of being alive for the past 10 years. There still is a lot of speculation in the conspiracy world about this news and we will just have to wait and see what scraps the government throws at us to explore.

No body? well then lets see the video/pictures and hear the witness accounts.

Why does this have to be a conspiracy? Its ridiculous to assume that everything is part of some government chess game to oppress the people. I would have rather seen the bastard get captured and water-boarded for a few months myself, but he fired at Navy Seals during the raid so the result isn't surprising in the least. The burial at sea makes sense, seeing as no country would take his body and why would we want to create a terror shrine somewhere? That's just asking for trouble. As far as a photo of the body, I am willing to bet he was shot in the head considering he was using his wife (coward) as a human shield and Obama is trying to not stir up the terrorists any more than they already are.

While this will give the President a temporary increase in political capital, it will not launch him into a victory in 2012. I can finally say Obama kept a campaign promise, but does it really matter what President was in office when this intelligence was gathered? I'm sure McCain would have ordered the raid as well. It's not as if Obama was on the ground collecting intel himself or dropped from a helicopter into the compound with a machine gun and blasted Bin Laden, as awesome as that would be.

If Roddy Piper was president he would have personally gone in there and made Osama put on the damn glasses!
