Ah, how I'd forgotten, women wear make-up and high heels because they love it when the squirrels tell them how nice they look. Of course. Women wear these things because they want to be considered beautiful by their peers. Part of that IS actually looking good in order to find a partner. So whether they're straight or lesbians, women basically are wearing them in part because they want to find somebody.
"He describes female anatomy in terms of penetration, or uses terms referencing the supposed “emptiness” of female anatomy when describing women." Yes, obviously we should discard the word vagina after it's been an accepted medical term for ages, all because some feminist classics major was mortified to find out the word meant sheath in Latin.
"He argues that people (or just “men”) have sexual “needs.”" But...people do have sexual needs. That's why sexual dysfunctions mess people up so bad, they've a psychological need that isn't being met.
The concepts of masculinity and femininity,
the treatment of women,
the systems of hierarchies of power and domination,
all depend on support of rape.

Sorry, but that argument is so logically flawed I'm not even going to touch it, save to say that none of those things inherently depend on supporting rape. A good majority of that article is non-sense crap, but parts of it are accurate. Rape isn't just attacking a woman and forcefully penetrating her, You'd be surprised by how many people take advantage of an intoxicated woman who is actively saying that she doesn't want to have sex, the man will rationalize it by thinking that she really does want it, but is just shy, or doesn't want to appear slutty or something similar. Thats still rape.
The article mentioned something about cat-calls too, thats another thing thats messed up, there is a big difference between telling a random woman that she is good looking, and yelling out obscene comments infront of your friends.
Just because a woman does not want to have sex with you (even if your a very good looking guy) doesn't mean she is stuck up, or a prude. Some women enjoy having more active sex lives than others, thats just the way it is. Just because woman A lets you bone her in the airport bathroom, doesn't mean woman B wants anything to do with you.
Some men are just pricks, no morals, no values just self centered assholes.
What I do not agree with is the comment on prostitution, this will always be going on, its easy money for women who are desperate. It needs to be legalized and regulated like it is in other countries. It would make the business alot safer for everyone. In germany prostitutes get health insurance. The current prostitution business in this country is messed up. Its just like marijuana, if people are going to do it anyway, then atleast make it as safe as possible.Comment
