How much water do you drink?

Usually as it gets warmer, especially in the coming summer months, I find myself going through quite a lot of water.

Today I drank about 80 ounces (10 of these little 8 oz bottles), and tonight I'm sitting here with a big ol' gallon bottle of Ozark water I'll probably kill before bed time.

Even so, I don't think I'm drinking enough for my body size. If you're curious, check out:

Just curious what you guys water habits are.

I drink water constantly at work and some at home never measured it though. Thing is with me its gotta be ice cold. I can't stand warm water. I fill my large cup for work all the way to the brim then water after. Ice water is the best.

Today I had about 1.5L of water and 2L of herb tea(cold). Sometimes the tea and water numbers are inverted, but that's typical.

Yeah I can't do warm water, or tap water. It has to be store bought. Maybe it's just the fact that water in my town sucks ass.

Usually 7-10 Gatorade bottles worth of fluid, I reuse one all day. 32.oz size. Mostly water, but some gatorade, and tea in there too. Usually I'm pissing spring water, lol.

Now if we count water with fermented grains added.......

A friend once told me that I should be drinking about half my body weight in water ounces. I took the little quiz Chad posted which confirmed what my friend told me. Unlike you guys though, I can't stand cold water, I only drink room temp water! My tap water is even too cold, so I fill a Brita pitcher and leave it on my counter. I do need to step up my drinking habits though...I am only drinking half of half of my weight in water. I like G2/Powerade Zero drinks but my husband swears that they are not the same as drinking pure water. I argue that just as water does, they make me pee too, therefore, they are hydrating!

G2 is the sh*t! Always have tons of this on hand. Cant stand regular Gatorade, I guess its G1 now. Hate the sticky sh*tmouth it gives. I drink diet sodas for the same reason - nothing to do with calories just hate the sticky taste/sensation.....

At least 5 usually closer to 8 16.9 ounce bottles a day. As it get hot that will increase. Room temp is not exactly how I prefer it but about 80% of the time thats what it is.

Purple G2 tastes like Dimetapp. Blech.

I drink about a gallon of water/day. 3L at least on physical days which seem to be everyday lately. I'd say that on the less physical days I consume the same amount of liquid though it's not straight water. I've also heard the same thing about pure water being the best but I've also heard contrary words from a physician. Just be careful with caffeine. I'm a room temp water drinker too. I like it cold every now and again but I certainly don't keep the water in the fridge...God forbid there's ice in it. Even in the summer, I just drink it better at room temp. I notice that if I don't force the fluids the dehydration causes muscle cramps and being the job is so physical those cramps are debilitating.

1-3 liters per day. Often 1-2. I love water!

Pretty much all i drink is water and beer; with some tea thrown in every now and again.

Just so you guys know, bottled water is the same as you get out of your tap, they get it from the same municipal water supplies. I have never understood paying for water lol.

I need to start drinking more plain old water...I am a diet soda junkie (or diet pop as we call it in my area of the country growing up) and even more so now that snus is a daily product as well...I am trying to be a junior member of the snusgetter fan club and mix various citrus based drinks like Diet Mt. Dew and Mello Yellow Zero with General White portion, etc.

I drink alot of water, most of it is a night during work, but I keep hydrated during the day too. Other than gatorade at work, water is pretty much all I drink for the most part, I will have a soda now and again, no more than 3 a week though, and iced tea too.

During the summer months I have to have both gatorade and water at work, I bring a small cooler with water bottles and gatorade. The gatorade has sugar, carbs, and electrolytes which is good for your body during stressful activity in the heat.

I actually get physically ill if I don't drink at least 4 16.9oz water bottles and 1 32oz gatorade throughout my shift during hot weather.

Also, Like chad, I won't drink tap water, has to be bottled water. I even have a water cooler with the 5 gallon jugs in my place, saves money in the long run, its cheaper than buying loads of bottled water cases and is more convenient like tap water.
