I suppose I will have to post again for my top twenty, but I do have to say that Led Zeppelin II and Led Zeppelin Physical Graffiti are right up there. I do think that eli's choice of the Police is on target. They have so many albums that I can listen all the way through, same with Led Zeppelin. The guitar work of Led Zeppelin is fantastic. (not to piss anyone off but..) how could anyone rate the rolling stones or the beatles above the Led Zeppelin is quite suprising. I do have to give the beatles the credit that they deserve for their time, they were the great innovators just not a band that I care listening to because their music seemed to be so simplistic. Sorry.

Anyone like The Who, or The Guess Who?

The Who definately belong up there with the alltime greatest such as Zepplin.

eli I like your picks of Joshua Tree and Synchronicity, though for ac/dc I would pick High Voltage.

Well High Voltage is a good album, and it was really hard for me to pick one, I just tried to pick an album where I like every single song. That's a tough thing for me to do, I tend to like songs as opposed to bands or albums, my iPod is am absolute jumble of single songs from a wide variety of artists. Of course my tastes seem to change on a daily basis as well. About the only thing I don't like is more recent (last 20 years or so) Country music... although I do break out the Johnny Cash and Hank Williams Sr. every now and then.
