Vodka or gin?

Or something not classic?

I like both vodka and gin but vodka and I don't get along......

About to hit up a Martino bar for a drink with coworkers and wondered what the consensus was on martinis.

A goofy glass full of booze.

I enjoy a Cape Cod with frequency -- yes, that's vodka and cranberry juice. Although it's not masculine, it will get you very drunk, very fast.

If I have to drink a martini, I'd want it to be made with Gin...I hate vodka. That being said, I'd never drink a martini if there's scotch to be had, and it wouldn't even have to be a good scotch for me to choose it over a martini, lol

I prefer bourbon or whiskey overall but I went for the gin martini this evening.

Olives....I didn't have the balls to ask for onions.......this time.

Vodka makes me blackout....bad. One sip and I am done.

Beefeater, up, olives. Skip the vermouth to be honest.

If I'm using vodka then it's usually a gimlet and with that I usually go with Ketel One. My wife prefers the more fancy vodkas and I don't mind a nice glass of Chopin or something.

A martini's made with gin. If it isn't gin, it isn't a martini afaic.

I hate gin. Like Rick, I would rather have scotch or whiskey. If I have to have a martini though, definitely vodka.

I like mine with gin. Shaken until my hands are about to crumble from the cold, whispering vermouth as I pour it in the glass.

I also like them "dirty", with a splash of olive brine, but no vermouth.

My wife is the Martini person in the house, but I generally have a few a week.
