    Is stripping an art?

Well, what do you think? In my eyes, as well as in the Norwegian laws, it is. But the feminist group "OTTAR" doesn't. They had a mini-demonstration outside a strip club in Oslo today, but they didn't get much sympathy. In fact, a female stripper went down to the demonstators and started stripping

    Watch it here http://www.dagbladet.no/2011/06/17/n...stad/16969395/

Please, share your views on this. The funny thing about this in Norway, is that prostitution is illegal, but if you film it and publish it (AKA porn) it's legal. Stripping is also legal, but OTTAR doesn't like that...

EDIT: Ottar is the group in the halloween costumes. I don't know why they wore those, but they're signs said "The Women's Group OTTAR - We're stripping to the bone".

EDIT2: Whilst OTTAR shouted "ikke faen, nok er nok, nei til salg av kvinnekropp" (Hell no, enough's enough, we don't want sale of women's bodies [sorry for bad translation]), the stripper said "Er rumpa mi farlig, kanskje? Å, jeg er så undertrykket her oppe" (Is my ass dangerous? Oh, I'm so deppressed up here".

Was kinda hoping there'd be a little nudity in there somewhere. I guess you'll never know until you click.

When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

And a high art it is. Yes sir. Van Gogh, Mozart, and Dickens can't hold a candle to the likes of Susie Slammer and Kitty Thunderthighs.

Not much as far as art goes, but that shouldn't be the issue. Adults doing adult things is of no concern to any other than the parties involved.

I vote art. Moreso it's the art of seduction rather than the removal of garments. Some people are pretty bad at it though. There should be a test or something. Sure, I've happened upon some seedy strip joints. The high-end ones are pretty nice though...art.

Hehe. She works at a club called Mr X. The first club in Norway to have naked strippers. But the police was there, so she'd be arrested if she'd done it on the streets
