    Sword Collectors

    Anyone on here a sword collector? I've got a sword to sell but there are none like it on ebay so I think I'd like to sell it elsewhere. Does anyone know a good website to do this, or have any sword knowledge?

    I have a very small sword collection. I'm not that knowledgeable, but I know a little bit.
    Is there any markings on it like country of origin, or stainless steel, or 440 anywhere? Perhaps a pic?

      Its an austrian naval sword from the mid 1800s. Its pretty classy with a wizard looking dude on the handle haha. What kind of swords do you have

        Wow. That is nice. Very nice.
        I have a dragon katana. Sharp as a razor with a point like a needle. Scary sword to hold. I have a rapier similar to a musketeer type thing. I have an old cavalry sword. Not sure if that an original or not. It is very old. I also have a replica of the sword from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. That sword the real deal heavy as hell, but wouldn't cut melted butter.

          Whatever you do don't clean it or try to restore it in anyway. I learned that from Pawn stars. Have you considered joining a sword forum. quick google and a bunch came up. http://www.google.com/search?client=...UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

            @atreyukun
            sounds like a nice collection you got going. a buddy of mine used to have a katana style sword and we would play with it in the yard baseball style with fruit and other slice-able objects haha. Swords can be really f***ing serious sometimes. People should carry them around instead of guns

                  For some reason I picture him as a huge bong smoker.

                      got your email but for some reason it wouldn't let me respond. To answer your question...yes and no. My parents offered to give me the sword to sell to raise funds for moving but I never found a buyer. The sword is in their basement on the other side of the country from me but I can contact them and I'm pretty sure they'd be ok with selling it. shoot me another email with what its worth to you and I'll hit up my 'rents. oh yeah and the metal tip on the sheath has been severed from the leather (can't really tell from pic) but the tip has broken completely off

                        When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers
