Scott Peterson was sentenced to death for murdering his wife. There was the same level of evidence in that case, and the jury got it right. OJ was acquitted with even more evidence against him.

One talking head said that the entire trial hinges on jury selection, and I'm inclined to believe that.

Not sure if I have my case facts straight but the story was the little girl drowned in the pool and then she covered it up right??

With a daughter with no fear I could relate as a parent about a accident happening and then the police show up and make a case against you these days.

Just with that I would need a very solid case to convict somebody but now that I am remembering there was a lot more to it of pre-meditative speculative/facutal evidence against her.

Well whatever you think of her guilt ot innocence, she is about to be wealthy from all the interviews and book/movie deals.

Moral of the story, sometimes crime does pay?
        Bad mothers get more cash?

I am so glad life isn't fair or else we would have nothing to bitch about.

If she makes any money she will have to spend a fair amount to protect her ass. Seems like eveyone wants to kill her now.

on a side note......I bet Baez is looking forward to one hell of a BJ when she gets out.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

They'll get her when she tries to steal her sports memorabilia back.

I didn't follow the story, but the wife did. I've got enough junk to deal with in my life without looking for more. That being said, I was just stoked that Nancy Grace got her little feelings hurt. That bitch is batshit crazy!

That's exactly right. OJ's posse needs someone to hang out with. Honestly that's the only type of people who will have anything to do with her. She might as well change her name, get some surgery, and leave the country...

This is a nugget of gold...put it on a t-shirt and make millions. I want 1%.

As for the trial and stuff, this has been local news here for me since it started and all I can say is who gives a funk. The decision has no bearing on my personal life.......everyone has been screaming for her blood "in the name of justice". She has to live with herself for the rest of her life.

Of course, if my kid was missing for 30 seconds I would call the police.....

The State overcharged this case, simple as that. There is no way any jury would convict with the possibility of the death penalty when the State failed to actually prove that Casey caused her daughter's death or even intended to do so; both being requirements of a capital murder charge. Think about it, the medical examiners all testified that they could not point to a specific cause of death or even a date that she died. This is the definition of reasonable doubt. It's just as likely that the girl died in the damn pool in a horrible accident as it is she was strangled by her mother at this point. While I suspect that Casey is responsible in some way, the State did not meet their burden for capital murder. They should have waited to collect additional evidence or gone for a lesser charge that they actually had evidence to prove. There isn't a statute of limitations in FL for murder, so this reeks of a witch hunt by the State.

Just remember folks, many people have died in combat to protect our right to a fair trial in this country. God forbid your child dies in an accident and you who are screaming for Casey's head are charged with the death of your child.

Correct!!! Couldnt have said it better myself!

Would you rather a guilty person walk free or an innocent person serve time? Me personally would rather see a guilty person walk. They have to live with their crime and it will eat at them everyday!
