For myself, although I suspect that Casey is guilty in one way or another, either of killing her daughter directly or stupidly covering up a tragic accident, I went to bed last night thanking God that I live in a place where 12 adults make decisions regarding guilt and innocence based on facts presented by the prosecution and defense, rather than by 300 million people who spent that past three years getting worked into an emotional froth by for-profit TV news vampires.

And that bitch Nancy Grace is chief among them. She was shoving a needle in the girl's arm before she was even charged. I hope she gets dysentery and explodes.

For the record, I have two young daughters myself.

I'm glad to see that most of the comments here have been well thought out and not of the herd/mob mentality. It's bad enough they brought a weak case and incarcerated a citizen of these United States for nearly three years while they tried to have her convicted in the media with not a lick of evidence, But for the way some of these people are acting about the verdict is soooo effed up. Not to mention the money on both sides that was completely wasted. And in my oppinion the only parallel this case has to OJ is the acquittal. We must also remember OJ would have never been acquitted if not for shoddy/dirty Police Work..........

Well this is a first. Bigblue1 must have taken his medication this morning because he is speaking coherently. I agree completely.

That whole family deserves each other!

Hope their procreation ends here. Chances are though she will have another kid. Poor kid.

They all have to live with it, which is nice.

And no matter how much she profits she will always be looking behind herself.

So anyone think there will be some form of retribution against her from some other nut?

Lol you guys have such a bitch feud going! Y'all are both some coarse mother****ers. In a good way though, no complaints, just straight observation. Does this carry over from snuffhouse? Blue's got lots of love though. Lincoln, I just recognize you as astute, and coarse. Again, just blabbering here about what I see, not trying to push anyone's buttons.

I commend the jury for not making a mockery of our judicial system, by allowing the dicked up media to sway their verdict. I'm sure it was difficult for them, because like me, I'm sure many of them believe her to be guilty of the murder, or at the very least complicit in the murder of her daughter. Sadly, the prosecution couldn't produce any direct evidence that directly linked this woman to the murder of her child. The onus is on the state to prove her guilt, and they didn't do it. I told my wife this would happen last year because they didn't have the evidence to convict her, but she let the media get her emotionally involved. Every parent knows that something was askew here, and I guess that's what's infuriating to so many.....we know how we'd react if our child went missing, and she didn't display any real sorrow, or hysteria like I would if my child disappeared.

This family will be villified for years to come, but leave it to the media and they'll get a book deal, movie deal and all of them will make millions. In the end I'm glad the jurors put their emotions aside and chose to abide by the framework given to us by our fore-fathers, even if it means that this woman went free. She'll get what's coming to her. Karma is a bitch ;-)

And now there will be no justice for a murdered two year old girl. It's nice to stand on principle, but what principle are you standing on?

My bet is that she'll be sentenced to time served for the 4 counts of lying to the cops and will be released today. If she has a brain at all, she has already made plans to leave the country.

EDIT: On the other hand, OJ stuck around, so there's that.

Justice for the living, which is infinitely more useful than justice for the dead.
