It's the excellent Swedish music player. It's cheap, you can have whatever music you want, when you want it and its coming to the US NOW.

I plug mine into my hifi via the PC.

I've been using Rdio for a few months and I love it. I'll be giving Spotify a try, but from what I can see their interface is not as polished (especially their iPhone app). It's also nice to be able to access Rdio via the web wherever you are (Spotify requires you to install the application, no web interface).

The one feature that could make me a Spotify convert is that it connects to your other music (i.e. iTunes) and allows you to use Spotify as your sole music player. Rdio will "sync" to your library, but anything not in their catalog will not be available...

Yeah - my only slight complaint was that the quality (now I'm a music quality geek) of the music played off the phone was not as good as from the computer.

For a fiver a month for anything I want, I think it's great. Admittedly when I stop subscribing I lose it all, but I don't want to keep my music. My tastes change all the time and I get fed up with tunes pretty quick.

Spotify is awesome! Sadly I am a poor student, so I "can't" afford to pay for it. Or, I'm too cheap to pay for it with the little money I get every month. Luckily there's a free version (with ads and limits though which didn't exist to the same grade as before).

Is RDIO any good? Can you really just find any song that you want and listen to it on demand?

Yeah - you can just find any song that you want and listen to it on demand. You stick it on your playlist and is stays there for as long as you want. The trial/free versions have a time limit though.

Is Spotify any better or any more worth it? Send me an invite man I am amazed that these services are real, its's like a version of itunes where you can listed to anything. I love the playlist features where you can share playlists.

I just got Spotify too. Very cool. I threw every song I could think of at it and it had them. Awesome service!
