They had one in Robertsdale when I was about 8 or 9, but they tore it down for a gas station. The current Pig is in Foley and it kicks ass. Best wine selection in the county, and a walk in humidor to die for. That sucker had like $75 cigars in there. Insane!

Definetely! We were planning on spending a day or two there anyway on the way to see my mom in Miami, oh and beat the shit out of Nash lol. I asked my wife she said they were building the pig same time we left. Used to be another store.
There used to be a Piggly Wiggly in Auburn, and it survived an onslaught of Kroger, Publix, Winn Dixie, Food World, Food Max, Brunos, etc. It couldn't survive Sam Walton's evil minions, though. Thankfully, there's a pretty large contingent of people here who refuse to enter a WalMart, so it looks like my beloved Kroger and Earthfare will survive.
Now in my grandparents little town of New Brockton, they had a stunning IGA, and right down the road a Piggly Wiggly, and just past that a Dixie Darling I think it was. I loved those tiny town grocery stores. WalMart supercenter opened in Enterprise (20 min away), and all of them were gone.
