The water is cold so give yourself a few minutes to adjust. Soon you will be surrounded by mountains, crystal clear water and a beautiful sand beach. All of your worries will be left in the water and you will feel like a new person when you get out.

My daughter's mom is getting married in the Bakersfield area, and my daughter is in the wedding, so I'm dropping her off with them so they can do all their wedding stuff, and I've got a week to myself up there so I'm trying to fill the week with fun activities and whatnot. I've always wanted to go to Alcatraz, and now I've got a full list of other stuff. Very exciting!
