Thought it was time I stopped lurking, and give a great big HOWDY!!


First saw the Camel snus and tried it.

Disgusting!

Then saw this forum and heard about the real deal made by our good friends in Scandanavia. So I ordered some from the old internets, and I have been in heaven ever since.

I started with the small dry white portions, but am now using the standard size portions. I havent tried the los yet, but am thinking of getting an icetool and trying it out.

Right now my favs are Lucky Strike, Metropol Lakritsrot, and Goteborgs Rape. Tried general, but it always seems too salty. but that was when i first started, and maybe i should give it a new try.

Well I'll stop rattling on.

Goteborgs Rape is great stuff, you should also give the Roda lacket portions a try, they're awesome. I don't find general that salty, and I really like the General Onyx portions (but they're a bit pricey).

As with many folks on this forum I also heartily endorse Gotlands Yellow portions.

I havent tried any of the Gotlands. They will be on my next order for sure!

Well if you like Goterape then I'd really push you to try Roda Lacket as well... not sure if you're into the stronger snus at all, but I'm also a big fan of Lucky Strike and think that Nick & Johnny original portions are a step up (both in flavor and nicotine content) from there.

For a low cost portion I recommend Knox, some folks like the LD line of portions, but I wasn't impressed by them.

Also check out the Personal tastes Compared sticky thread in the Snus and Snus Accessories forum, lots of good recommendations there. and you can find folks who like the things you like so you've got some clue that their tastes are similar to yours. Snus are very subjective.
