Alright...I'm totally about saving, but the "tax free holiday" thing just kills me. People go ape-shit for it here, but everyday I deliver coupons for at least 25% off from all kinds of stores.

Why do people go so crazy to save anywhere from 5-10% on this one day? Good marketing, I guess...

Bro at my apartment complex people throw away coupon inserts like crazy. There is a garbage can next to the mailboxes so people can toss their junk mail. Every couple days i take a huge black garbage back and empty it. Wife goes through it at home. She sells coupons online for a few extra bucks. Because of my garbage can diving i got like 80 razors for free. Body sprays etc. Today shes getting like 18 cans of womens shave gel for free. I'm getting more razors for free. Its nuts what people throw away.

My mom does the same thing...sells 'em on eBay. I can't bring them home from work, it's against the rules. Tell your wife to check out the magazine "All You" that sells at WalMart. Chock full of coupons, and cheap. My mom buys them 10 at a time and sells coupons in sets of ten. It's the only reason anybody in my fam sets foot in that store...

I guess mom's the PP of coupons...minus the latex (God I hope!)

This is mainly a ploy. I heard a news article about it. The government loves it because supposedly, while people are buying things tax free some like 80+% of people also buy non tax-exempt items.

And I ****ING HATE coupons. lol
