The electric company nazis?

I hate living in an apt honestly.. There was a notice on our door stating that my apartment complex was participating in an energy saving program where as each apartment will be outfitted with a special thermostat which the electric company controls. When demand is high they can shut off your AC with no notice whatsoever. My brother in law actually volunteered for the program a while back. He said the heat was so unbearable for his two infant daughters they had to take trips to the mall during the electric companies nazi control. What I found hilarious was that the flyer stated "with these thermostats you can save up to 10% off your energy bill. Amazing! Highest bill I have got so far was for about 190.00.. I'd rather pay the extra 19 a month to be comfortable during the hottest part of the day where it's been reaching over 100 degrees.

Good news though. It said on there that we can opt out of the program due to health reasons. My wife called, explained my Chrons/ulcerative colitis. Which is honest. When I have a flare up I'm extremely weak, the heat wouldn't help.

I feel like being an ass. During peak hours Im puttin that son of a bitch to 65 LOL.

This is yet another thing Alex Jones has predicted and is now coming to fruition. I guess predicted is the wrong word but if you search his site you will find articles pertaining to this ludicrous BS that go back at least 3 years.....
