Then when it turned out if you held the phone normally, you would press on the antenna and kill the reception. Job's answer to that in the press conference: "Then just don't hold the phone that way."

That answer is the 21st century version of Marie Antoinette's "Let them eat cake" when the French complained they had no bread to eat. We all know what happened to her during the French Revolution......

Just an FYI, Best Buy is starting to sell their in store stock now. They originally were not but after some haggling from HP, they are offering them for sale at the close out prices. Check your local Best Buy tomorrow if your still looking for one and they may have it in stock. Here is a link to check the availability of the 32g one:

      http://www.bestbuy.com/site/HP+-+Tou...=1218358272750

      And one for Staples:

And if you get one, some info on hacking it a bit. webOS is really open (in a way that Android isn't and iOS never will be):

Apple Fanboy/Groupie here. . I won't deny it. Steve Jobs could take a poo, put it in a shiny white box and call it iShit and I'd buy it.

@Chad: ROFL! The first step is recognizing you do have a problem....only 11 steps to go! (and won't I look stupid if I end up buying an iPad 6 or 7). Meanwhile, grabbing an HP at BestBuy tomorrow. Thanks, Ainkor for the tip!

NP. I am really an Apple fanboy too. I just happen to be a technoholic with a bit too much expendable income at this time. I really think my wife is about ready to kick my ass. She saw the two Touchpad's I brought home today and just shook her head.

I think I have hit the tech nirvana now... and I do feel rather 1st worldish about it. With the two tablets today here is the family breakdown: All 5 have a computer (3 desktops, 2 laptops), all 5 have a smartphone (3 iPhone 4's, 1 Pre2, 1 3GS), all 5 have a tablet of some sort (2 iPad 2's, 1 iPad 1, 2 HP Touchpad's and 1 Nook color). 2 extra laptops (One Google chrome freebie and my work laptop that sits in my car for the rare time I need it). 1 iPod touch, i iPod classic, Apple TV..... Shit, I really need help. It's time for a tech-intervention.

Oh, and I already set aside savings for the iPhone 5 when it comes out. Think I'm going to consolidate us all on VZZ to save $100 a month versus having two plans from two companies.

            SOMEONE SAVE ME!!!!! :P

This is what the Staples link got me:
We're sorry, there was a problem with your last request.

                            BestBuy:
                            Shipping: Not available

                            Store Pickup: Not Available

but they do list the $149 model.

                              This just in... :^)

"Select Best Buy stores in the U.S. will sell the TouchPad for $99 on Sunday.

A store manager in suburban Los Angeles said the TouchPad will go on sale when Best Buy opens its doors Sunday at 10 a.m. The sale applies to all Best Buy stores that have stock, but not all stores do, he said.

Stores typically have stock in the tens of units, not hundreds, according to the store manager. "If people start lining up, the stock will go fast," he said.

Both models will be sold: the 16GB and 32GB, for $100 and $150, respectively, he said.

This comes in the wake of fire sales by Hewlett-Packard on its TouchPad site and at Best Buy in Canada, among other U.S. resellers.

HP announced Thursday that it is shuttering the WebOS device business. "
