          I'm pretty sure you can get it at every supermarket. It's just boiled down berries in a carton... I think. On the Faroes we use rhubarbs for that, since berries don't grow well there (all of a sudden Faroese history became more interesting for the Danes).

                  I was not born in Norway(but my sister was) and my entire family lives in Norway The entire family lives in the south, more precisely Oslo and the nearby areas (Østerås osv.) :P
                  And no.. Kompe is the spawn of satan.. I eat a lot of Norwegian food.. But never, EVER, Kompe.

                      Extremely close... I guess Bærum kommune actually covers the area where a good deal of my family lives :-)

                      But it could be worse than Kompe.. If you go far enough north you might just end up ordering a sheep's head and side of horsemeat(Though horsemeat actually tastes quite good)
