:rolls eyes: They should be happy they have a job to offer. Getting your panties in a bunch over pc wording nonsense doesn't do anyone any favors.

What makes me laugh is the sheer glibness of it... like what the public sees normally compared to what they're really thinking... made me chuckle.

That's what irritates me about the whole thing. I'm sure everyone that complained about it has said/thought something similar in the past, but they're quick to climb up on their high horse when someone else says it. It's duplicitous, and they're just starting shit to see what happens. Real life trolling.

But that's not what pisses me off so much. I guess the angle that pisses me off is how you see these jobs glibly promoting equal opportunites yet they don't really give a monkey's cuss. It's not open and honest.

Basically if you've got a nice pair of Bristol Cities and a cracking pair of legs: you've got the job!

I agree with you, but perhaps from a different direction. I don't believe in affirmative action. equal opportunity, or anything other than skill. "Equal opportunity" should be implied, and doesn't need explicit stating, or backing by the government. It's in every business' best interest to get the best person, at the lowest price. I don't think quotas were ever really relevant, but if they were, they certainly aren't now.

I'm coming at this from a USA perspective. I don't know how things work in the UK.

Well, i don't like discrimination but by the same token i don't like positive-discrimination.
