700lb Californian woman enters record books as the world's fattest

FULL TITLE: 'I blame it on my genes': 700lb Californian woman enters the record books as the world's fattest woman
After reaching 700 pounds, Pauline Potter has officially entered the record books as the world's heaviest woman.
But the 47-year-old from Sacramento, California, now says she wants to lose weight so she can enjoy every day life again.
Mrs Potter had boasted that men think she is a 'sex goddess' and she has 'fantastic sex every day', but she now struggles with daily life and cannot turn over in bed and or fit in her car. She wants to lose as much as 500 pounds in order to be able to go dancing, go on road trips and fit in seats at the theatre.
The world record holder, who currently weighs 643 pounds, blames her upbringing as the main reason for her size.
She said that being overweight is in her genes and that as a child there was an 'overabundance' of food.
'My mom was over 400 pounds and my dad over 600,' she said. 'I have eight siblings all which are over 300, except one.

People from Japan regularly break records for living the longest. Here in the states, our records are a bit different.

I think that's some kind of weird mental illness ("I have to be bigger than that other b*tch, or else I can't get into Guinness world record book"). But it's her body, she can do with it whatever she wants.

E: And I'm not quite sure about that "sex goddess" thing...

Processed/Fast Food everywhere, GMO grains, Grain Fed Animals with even more GMO and a society which is created around the automobile. Walking is not needed for most of the population the way we have built our cities/suburbs.
Poisoned oceans, free use of pesticides in the foods we import. Even if you have beaten the bodys response by storing excess you still are dealing with dangerous inflammation which leads to heart disease, diabetes, degenerative joint disease and close to everything else. You are what you eat.
We are all being hit in every direction and are all infected one way or another. Go to your famers market and ask about their growing process, go to a grass fed farm or buy that expensive organic product once in awhile just to keep showing these profiteers that you want the real stuff. Not some cutting the corners science project. I grew up on artificial full of crap labels but now am seeing more a more real food on the shelves.

That is the truth. I've been trying to shed 30 pounds since August. (lost 12 so far!) I watched a documentary on Netflix Instant called Fat, Sick, And Nearly Dead. (Anybody wanting to lose some weight I highly recommend it) Anyway, I started checking out some other docs. on there about food and what not. I mostly buy organic now, and cook from scratch. It's horrid how crap is put into foods.

My rule of thumb is that if I can pronounce the ingredients, it's worth a buy. Vegan, your mom bought me a 6-pack of buffalo hotdogs. Nothing in there but buffalo and spices. Cost $11 for 6 dogs. Expensive, but great for you. I don't eat much any more but when i do, it's usually buffalo. Other than that, it's as organic as possible. I'd rather spend a few more bucks than eat slow killing poisons.

On a side note, I accidentally type buggalo. iPhone fixed it for me. Lol for you futurama fans out there.

Imagine being a student 1000 years from now and reading about the decline of the west..........why, how, what................then throw in archaeological discoveries of fashion and home decor from the 70's and you would be like.............WTF .................

That's us................well.............that's the the rest of you.................I exempted out

All of the above is true regarding the food most of us eat but I'll guarantee you if you're chowing down on 5-10 thousand calories a day of the most politically correct and organically perfect food around you'll still be the size of a house in a few years. Blaming the country's declining level of self-control in dietary matters on the kind of food we eat may be putting the metaphorical cart before the horse. Cheap and tasty high-calorie food that's easily obtainable is hardly a new phenomenon. One could weigh 500 lbs. fifty years ago if one desired but the cultural shifts of the last several decades that have produced the obesity "epidemic" is a frustratingly complex phenomenon and a heck of a lot more is at work here than simple food availability. The seemingly rampant availability of cheap high calorie food, and subsequent weight explosion, could well be the effect of our skidding self-control instead of its root cause.
