Newt is never going to be president, he carries too much baggage. He is generally a bad person and doesn't have the votes anyways.

So other than GoVegan, and perhaps myself, would it be fair to say Snus seems to appeal to a conservative demographic in the U.S.?

Tobacco in general does. I don't consider myself conservative, for example I think each and every one of the current GOP candidates are a bunch of crazy nutters, except for Ron Paul who is not perfect but at least has some character and sticks to his word about things. The forum is about 40% conservative, 20% liberal, and 40% somewhere in the middle if you ask me. Just like America, which is also 40% conservative, 20% liberal and everyone else are independents.

What's a conservative? The whiny little bitches in Washington that like to chant "freedom", but really mean "freedom to do their puppetmasters? bidding"? Or do you mean The republic fundamentalists who believe they got it right in the 18th-19th century, and any change from that should be glacial, with careful consideration, sometimes spanning generations?

I'm ok with anarchy. That's raw democracy, and the ultimate freedom. It's also the ultimate responsibility, and that's an endangered concept in this country.

You tell me, though I'd venture to guess one point of view is much more common and uses the name more often to describe themselves. I suppose either would apply to my question however.

I'd say snus users, and tobacco aficionados in general would tend to be the latter category. "Conservative" isn't an especially useful term anymore. Like "liberal", it's a loaded word that carries baggage unrelated to the word. It's just a stupid uniform people apply to others so they can dismiss them without thinking.

I think SNUS appeals more to the general mass then a political affliction.
