Very good review. It sounds like a place I'd like to go. Are you familiar with the city? What's your take on it?
Yep, I'm quite familiar with Tallinn as I live there about 1-2 weeks in a month. It's a pretty and compact city with lots and lots of history in it and as long as you stay close to city centre you are okay, but going a bit further it could get dangerous. Lowering the crime rate would be a big plus. But if you ever come here I'd definitely reccomend to come in winter time around Christmas, when the old town is just like a big winter wonderland.
That review was bit one-sided, especially when talking about hotels and bars, there's a lot of other good bars and hotels too, but ofcourse for SnusOn member I'd offer free staying at my summer cottage about hour away from Tallinn with proper Estonian food selection

Definitely. Some people over here go to Florida for Christmas. The only thing that would be worse than that is jail :^D Christmas should be cold and snowy, and ideally in the old country :^)

That's what I figured. I'm not much interested in business accomodations. I'd rather stay in an interesting old dump, than some modern construction. I can go to new buildings over here. If I travel, I want to get a feel for the place I'm visiting.

Haha, true that winter without snow is like snus without tobacco
-15C and about 40cm of snow is just perfect but after 3-4 months of constantly digging your car out of snow in the morning it gets a bit unpleasant.
