lmao me too. Thats almost the only reason I opened the thread.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

In the P2P world GBTV > Keith Olbemann. GBTV seem to be pretty popular whereas Keith's fan-base seems to be pretty much non-existent.

              Beck doesn't have a show.

To be fair, even at 46,000 Olbermann is still drawing twice what Current was getting before him. Pre-Olbermann, the network was averaging about 23,000 viewers a day in 2010. That means nationwide they had fewer eyeballs than a CW affiliate does in a mid-sized city. (The 2010 numbers are the most recent because Current’s audience is so small that Nielsen only tracks them when the network pays it to and even then the numbers aren’t given to the public.)
This explains why these dismal numbers have Current president David Bohrman so excited about continuing to be in last place. He says the networkwould be “completely transformed” in the next year with new primetime shows to support Olbermann. (He might want to consider completely transforming it into something besides a TV network.)

                Actually he does Joe. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/10/19/glenn-beck-has-his-eye-on_n_1020493.html

                A
nd with 230,000 paying subscribers he easily beats Olbermann's 46,000 cable viewers.

If you haven't noticed a lot of content is moving to tablet computers like the iPad and the soon to be released Kindle Fire where people don't even need a wired cable connection.

Same here! That was the first thing to come to mind when I saw the thread title. I guess it's true... Great minds do think alike!

                  -------------------------------

Keith Olbermann's ratings don't surprise me. While I enjoyed watching his show when he was on MSNBC, it's just not the same show. For starters, the presentation feels very cheap (a step above the political programs you see on public access networks, but no better).

Lawrence O'Donnell (who replaced Keith on the timeslot) has a great show on MSNBC. I think most of Keith's former viewers have realised this and are watching his show instead of Countdown.

Bottom line: MSNBC has what Current TV doesn't; an excellent presentation and a stellar lineup (Lawrence O'Donnell, Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow, Joe Scarborough with Mika Brzezinski, et al.)
