My knee jerk reaction after watching Andetson

It was unnecessary to beat the shit out of him before shooting him in the head, but what's done is done.

Gathafi said himself that he vowed to die as a "martyr". Do I condone their method of taking care of Gathafi? No, but I'm not losing sleep over this one. The Italians did a lot worse to Mussolini after he was captured at the end of World War II. This pales in comparison.

The bottom line is their country is better off without him, and I hope they take this opportunity to form a peaceful nation.

It's an internal matter AFAIC. But they also should have revolted internally. It wasn't anyone's problem but the Libyan's. I woudn't have sent air support, or anything else. Maybe if they were willing to be subject to the USA, but not under any other terms.

Yeah I thought about that myself. My guess is I would hate to be the guy there holding the camera. Some of those militias appear to be loosely organized and you would probably get shot if one of those soldier didn't like anything about you. Many Muslims do not want their picture taken either for fear of retaliation or the belief that a camera image captures part of your soul.
