    Your home.

I thought I'd post some small pics of my house. I just finished mowing the front lawn and I always like to take a step back and enjoy it. So I thought I'd show it off. It's a little bit of heaven. I love the fact that there is nothing beside us but acres and acres of cotton. Even though it's costing us 100K, it's well worth to have your own yard and your very own headaches. Feel free to post your own.

That's a beautiful house - a house of my dreams. 100k - is that all???? I'm living in the wrong country. Mine costs 270K British pounds and I'm ashamed to post it.

Well thanks. It's very modest, but it gives me somewhere to put my snus. I think the place has already lost like 10% of it's value in 2 years just because of the depressed neighborhood. My wife's uncle tried to talk me into putting in a pool. That'd be great, but I'm a little afraid to what with the young 'un and all.

          that house is pretty awesome.

100K is just about the price you'd pay for a similar house in Romania, not central
but still close by the city...

I live in a flat (4 b3d apartment), wish to have a house maybe in 10 years or so lol

You have a nice house. Screw the pool. It's better having friends with a pool than having a pool. It's a second job maintaining the stupid thing, and a PITA all around.

Thats exactly what we are looking for in Georgia. Just a nice newer little house and property thats easy to keep up. Pools are way too much work unless you live where you can use it all year around.

Yeah, this is definitely not all year round pool weather here. It hit 43 last night. Since our back yard adjoins with my mother-in-laws, and I walked by and just looked at her pool and my boys down there retracted. Besides, getting a pool would be a bit of a waste for us seeing as how we have access to one whenever we like.
Anyway, it's quiet and not too far from anything we need. It's so nice just sitting on the patio with a beer and hearing nature out there. Not sure I could handle living in the city now. We've been spoiled.

No kidding! We spent way more than that and our home is about 1/2 that size.

Me, just living in this place at the moment. I like it here but it costs a bomb to heat the place, but hey we can afford it:

Sweet jesus! Our house is about 150k and it's only 93 m2 - and actually it's not really ours we just own a percentage of it, so basically we've paid for the small house and we also pay rent :S
Oh, I almost forgot - it's also joined with a similar "house" on both sides. I'll post pics once I get home from my sisters Place :-)

There are still bargains in housing in the South.

I love California. I just can't afford to live there. In my area prices have risen over the past 4 years. But custom new construction is going for $140.00 - $150.00 a sq ft. Still cheaper than a lot of areas.

When I moved here it was going for $115 - $135.00. The bad thing was where I moved from a custom built home with granite counter tops and all that was going for $100/ sq ft. I was lucky to find one of the older homes in my neighborhood so I got a little discount.
