    Back from the dead...

Back from the dead and full of life: Dog saved by mouth-to-snout after ...

Back wagging his tail and barking happily again, this is the dog that was incredibly saved by 'mouth-to-snout' after he became trapped in a burning house.

Firefighters in Wisconsin went beyond the call of duty to give the kiss of life to Labrador Coda, after rescuing the dog from the burning house.. . .

All ends well in this rescue, as Mocha and Lavender [family cats]were found in the basement unharmed, presumably scampering down there to avoid danger.

Exactly what do they mean by beyond the call of duty

Sounds to me like a routine call of duty
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

      .......you can say that again
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I was really hoping this would be a thread about Gellivare!
