          Sometimes I like being hard to get in touch with...especially when work is trying to call me in or my other in law is calling to bitch me out for something stupid that I had no part in.

            Totally off the subject but somewhat related. Simplifying myself even more. I will be done with overpriced cable after December.
            Purchased a ChannelMaster 2016 for 28 dollars from Walmart. A test inside the house recieved all the local HD channels crystal clear. Going to mount it outside this weekend for who knows what comes in.

            Good site to see what channels you can get and what kind of antenna is needed.

              Just saw the video. There's not a whole lot in that video that isn't more than 10 years away technology wise. Now the market will decide what becomes popular and at what speed those things will actually become affordable to everyone, but all of the technologies in that video just about are already being developed today and not really that far off at all. By the time my daughter is in high school most of those will already be readily available (plus some others not even mentioned in this video). Hurray for science!

                Yah I bought an HD antennae a long time ago, works great and get most of the channels I would watch anyways. Great investment. I havn't paid a cable company in nearly 3 years now, **** em.

                  Yeah, I was suckered into another 12 month lower plan or whatever and it is always cartoons or kardashians around here! needed to cut the cord! going to put a hd tuner card in the desktop.
