I've been debating on posting this for a little while because I know how much snusgetter likes to remain anonymous, and I'm sure I'll hear it from him later that I'm posting anything personal about him.
Snusgetter is currently in the hospital after suffering from a cardiac arrest. From what I'm told, he's hanging in there but he's still in rough shape.
Just to clarify, Snusgetter is my father. He introduced me to this forum and Snus. I got the call from my mother a little while ago and she said that he's not doing well, but he's hanging in. I talked to him about 5 hours before this happened and he seemed fine, and I kept almost letting it slip that I was coming home this Friday to surprise him for Thanksgiving.
(Dad, if you read this later and get upset that I posted this, I apologize. But you made this community a part of your life for the past few years and I know how proud you are for befriending everyone here.)
I'll be sure to keep you all informed on him. My dad is an amazing guy. So, if you're religious please keep him in your prayers. If not, just keep him in your thoughts. He loves this community and tells everyone he meets (that's a tobacco user) about Snus and where to get information on it.
Kind of funny how Snus was something that we bonded over. I'm glad I got to talk to him last night. So, in honor of you, Dad, I'm breaking open one of the last cans of Snus you sent me. I'll be home soon.
